Emma Pollock - founding member of The Delgados, The Burns Unit and legendary independent label Chemikal Underground - has toured the world and released a string of critically acclaimed albums including the classic (and Mercury Prize nominated) The Great Eastern.

A wonderful singer-songwriter, her dreamy lyrics and sublime voice have rightfully earned her an impressive global reputation as one of Scotland's finest artists.

"...Pollock has rediscovered her former band's (The Delgados) grandiose esoterica and stark, scratchy danger: 'Hug The Harbour' is tribal alt.pop, 'Nine Lives' sinister ragtime jazz and 'I Could Be A Saint' sounds like the most tuneful slashings of a serial killer nicknamed The Xylophone. Think Flo and Regina stalking Nick Cave; the music box threat of 'Red Oranges Green' or 'Confessions''..." NME

RM Hubbert has been a much-loved and respected fixture within the Glasgow music scene for several years, from his early recordings with El Hombre Trajeado through to his more recent solo album Thirteen Lost & Found, produced by Franz Ferdinand's Alex Kapranos.

RM Hubbert is a hugely gifted guitarist who's sound incorporates elements of flamenco, folk, samba and taiko and is inspired by events in his life that have, at times, been heartbreakingly difficult.

'Emma Pollock sounds as heady and slinky as her accompanist RM Hubbert on the alluring, enigmatic torch song Half Light' - THE SCOTSMAN ****
